Why ALBA ?

"Alba" in Spanish means "dawn"

It is the beginning of a new day, a new adventure.

We chose that name because it is the beginning of a new generation of Westie breeders.

We have been breeding weimaraners for 24 years with many champions worldwide but it was really hard for our kids to show them as they are big dogs and every time we used to go to shows they were admiring the westies. Thanks to Lindy we started showing and breeding them and we have been so in love with the breed from the first day!!! we enjoy grooming them and it is very nice that both breeds grow and play together. Weims are not good with small breeds if not introduced early and the westies too. So, we find a bonus they are exposed to a different size, temperament, breed.

They have a lot of fun together, hunting, chasing wild life in our farm and digging. Westies start the small hole and then weimaraners do their part!!!!

We compete with both breeds and we do it always as a family.
